Can Microsoft Dominate Search ?

Microsoft has spent millions of dollars in building the bing search engine and by signing the search deal with Yahoo ,Microsofts Bing has become the defacto number 2 search engine behind Google.Google makes 96% percent of its over $25 billion revenue from search and that is why Microsoft is trying to snatch some market share from them.However,Google is developing a new area of search which involves integrating the Web and television and this is an industry with a revenue potential of over $50 billion.Microsoft appears to have lost the ability to innovate and is always reacting as they are doing with smartphones and in most other technology areas.Also Google's Android is a platform for promoting Google search in mobile devices .With Microsoft dwindling fortunes in the mobile platform and their non- existence in TV-Web search experiment can they really challenge Google in Search?
